The InnerCity Mission of Christ Embassy is an outreach to indigent and neglected children in the inner cities. It is an outreach to give hope and a future to children by helping to bring their dreams alive.
Partnership with the InnerCity Mission is all about sponsorship; sponsoring and supporting the outreaches and projects of the InnerCity Mission is a sure way of securing the future your future!!. You can chose one or more of the following packages:
- Sponsor a Child
- Sponsor a Meal
- Sponsor a Project
- Sponsor an Outreach
If your desire is to help needy children, then our sponsor a child program gives you the right opportunity to do so. For as low as N10,000 a month, you can sponsor a child in the InnerCity Mission and make a difference in a child's future. Your donation can cover any of feeding, clothing, shelter, scholarship and care; but you can opt for the Child Support Package that covers the whole range please contact us for more information.
Food is essential to survival, growth and development as the popular saying goes, "you are what you eat". You can sponsor a meal for as low as N200 per meal. Every child in the InnerCity Mission Academy gets free breakfast and lunch and with your help, we will extend the feeding program to cover a take-away dinner. These meals are also used in Food Kitchen Outreaches such as Send Portions and in our regular feeding programs where we take food out to the hungry on the streets and in the inner cities. You can also sponsor a Food Box - a box of raw food items that can provide several meals for a family in the inner cities.
The InnerCity Mission embarks on several developmental projects in the inner cities - these includes the provision of safe drinking water by sinking boreholes, renovation or construction of School buildings to mention but a few. You can make a difference by sponsoring any of such projects thus creating a safe and conducive environment for growing children in the inner cities
You can sponsor the logistics and material requirement for conducting outreaches to the children in the rough terrain of the inner cities. Apart from our regular outreach meetings, we periodically carry out strategic outreaches including medical outreaches, feeding outreaches and educational outreaches through which several children and their care givers are reached through the gospel
Statistics show that one-sixth of the world's population now lives in shanty towns - this problem is our opportunity in the InnerCity Mission of Christ Embassy.
God wants us to give special attention to the children in our inner cities; left on the streets, many of them are frustrated for lack of opportunities and some of these little children die every day out of starvation with none to help. Others are used by their parents or guardians to beg on the street.
When a young child is made a beggar from a tender age, he would surely become a violent adult; he would take out his anger and frustration on the society. This is the reason we must do something now, it is our responsibilty to reach them and give them hope. You must understand that when you save the children, you are actually saving your own future, for the children are your future.
Remember, every child is your child!!!
